You may select the wager for each individual line, but there will be 25 of them active at all times. You go from a minimum wager of $0.25 per spin, and as you change the amount used per line (through coins and denomination), you can go up to $125 ($5 per line).
It doesn’t sound like it initially, since the regular combinations from Joker King slot will pay up to 6x the stake at most (150x for a full set of 25 combinations), but the potential is to get up to 5,000x the stake in one spin. A grinning Joker King is the star of the show, one of them at least, acting as a wild symbol which has an extra role to play. In addition to the typical substitution that it can help with, the wild also triggers a special feature, where one regular symbol is selected in the game area. For the first time, I’m seeing a scatter symbol bringing multipliers with it, which will be applied to all wins of the round. There are five potential values for the scatter’s multiplier, with the highest at 25x, while the others are 10x, 5x, 3x or 2x. Should several scatters with multipliers appear, you add up their values, and you could get up to 150x multipliers when they’re combined.
At the same time, the slot’s scatters are also going to be used to trigger free spins. Depending on their numbers, between 3 and 6 being required, you trigger 8 to 20 free spins. You will retrigger them in the same manner, but otherwise nothing changes, they’re as powerful as the paid spins when it comes to available features.
Theme & Design
Leaving the fruit theme aside, Joker King is not a bad looking slot machine. The quality is above and beyond what I’d expect to find in a classic title, but so is everything else about it. The setup does look unusual, with its 6 reels, but it’s not going to take away anything from the experience.
If you care about the symbols which are introduced, the Joker King is the wild, while the Gold Crown is a scatter. Beyond that, you have the regulars, with Stars, Lucky Sevens, Bar logos, Cherries, Plums and Oranges representing them.
